1. i dont think red john knew what was in the tupperware box only that it existed. teresa following up to find what was in the box makes sence.

2. teresa was in janes office and saw the board allowing her to figure out what names jane would come up with.

3. she wanted to know who janes 7 suspects were, to avoid suspicion and to confirm what was in her video.

4. who better to kill janes wife that anouther woman that probly in love with him.
