I would like to just throw my theory out there, it may be completely wrong, but after watching Episode 1 and 2 of season 6, I am beginning to believe that maybe "Red John" is actually an organization. I'd love to get some opinions and feedback on this theory because these last two episodes have been very overbearing i guess you could say.
