ARGUMENTATION

Very interesting episode, don't really know what to gather from it. Perhaps the seven are all entwined with RJ somehow, that would make sense, however, none of them are RJ, it's too simple. I was thinking on this, and it led me to Hightower, why did Red John frame her? it did not achieve anything, she fled, and Craig O'Laughlin eventually had to reveal himself as the Bug in the CBI, not secretively, but amongst others. And it's not like RJ had Todd Johnson killed because he was going to reveal anything, that was never on the cards. There is more to it than on the face I believe, Hightower may surface again with Jane, or maybe not, because of her children. I know this hasn't really had a valid opinion of who RJ is, but I don't think it is anyone on the list. I think Hightower has some association with RJ, and unlike Bertram and the crew, who seem to be governed by RJ for reasons unknown, Hightower deviated from him, and managed to get away safely.

I read below someone quoted Heller saying that it will be disappointing when the RJ reveal comes out. That does not make it obvious, it is a writer expressing his sadness that the show is coming to an end (I read he would have preferred to kept the show going, but due to less viewers etc, the network gave him one more season to close the show out).

And I have also seen some saying it could still be Brett Patridge? makes no sense, he died, Lisbon watched this, and as she did, the door that was previously closed behind her, was now open and she was grabbed, Brett Patridge is not two people.

Back to the point, if there is one, i've lost myself too. Brett Stiles does know RJ, and was able to give Jane the clue a while back because he is very powerful and RJ would not risk revealing himself, for something that would not result in his demise- OR perhaps Red John asked Stiles a favour. I would suggest RJ wanted Jane to find Frye, it was a scare tactic, he got into her head something fierce.

A Stiles and Ray Haffner connection through Visualize also suggests the entwinement of all these characters.

I do not think it is Bob Kirkland, I read below, Kirkland may be a collateral damage of one of RJ victims, much like Jane, but Kirkland himself does not have to cunning like Jane in order to seek a full revenge. That is very possible. But then I also think he could have been used by RJ to get into Jane's room and get all his notes etc, which is definitely how RJ got the seven names (but may have been attained by a separate friend). I think the names, however, are a facade. A clever ruse, as Jane would put it, he knew there were bugs in the CBI, who would watch him, see him go to the roof, investigate the locked door etc, of course RJ will try and enter, he always needs to be one step ahead, but Jane is two. He has to be. It's Patrick Jane, he told Lisbon, he knew the consequences, he is smart, that is his character.

I say don't expect the expected, that is, the six.
