There's been so much talk about RJ being a sum of 7 people but in my opinion this would be a disappointing way for closure to Jane as well to us fans.

I guess i would have been ok with this theory of 7, had RJ begun to take form at the same time Jane started consulting  for the CBI, as a counterweight to his brilliance in solving all those countless crimes. But let us not forget the RJ pre existed way before Jane jointed the CBI, even before his family got murdered by RJ. So what are we really suggesting here ? That 7 people from with different demografics, out of the sudden decided to come together and form a serial killer named RJ?? And where did they meet? They frequented at the same bar?At fantasy football?In sociopaths anomymus support group?

And for the sake of the argument lets say that indeed they got together and RJ came to life.
In a group of people who believe in the same cause, a cult or something, there is always a leader, a figure of authority that came up with the idea, who organises, schemes and delegates...So only this person is RJ and the other 6 people are just his sidekicks, his errand boys,,,,

And what about ep07 of current season and its title "The Great Red Dragon"? But really, do you think that Mr Heller would reveal something so important like RJ's ID in an episode title ? Remember what is the title of ep08..Red John...Come on now, RJ should be one person..,

I am not saying the the all the suspects do not play a role . They do play an important one. I trully believe that they all know who RJ is. And RJ holds each of them with something and uses it as leverage into making them do things for him.
For instance the voice we hear might be one person, Rosalind met another, Lorelai o third one, the psychiatrist another and so on and on...
But behind all this there is only one person pulling the strings, one RJ.

I cannot say with certainty who from the 7 is RJ. For a long time i thought it was Partrigde but now i am not so sure. But I strongly believe it is one person otherwise, I would be extremely disapponted by this story's end.
