In s06e01, in last sequence, when Lisbon gets up after partridge comes out of closet and falls down, there was no need to show the door gets open, unless you deliberately want lisbon to think that there is someone else apart from partridge who killed partridge...and thats what partridge(RJ) wanted for faking his death...open door was a trick by partridge(RJ).
