Hi, I just want to share some thoughts on the show and the Red John case.
First I must say that I thought that Red John was Raymond Haffner since Red Barn or at least he was my main suspect, followed by Bertram. Then when the list was reveled i got more confident that was one of the two. This last season started and except from Kirkland, who i didn't think was RJ but just some guy in search of revenge because of a lost lover to RJ (tangent to the truth xD), in each episode i started to think of the other suspects as really possibilities to be RJ. This until last episode, which made me think that Haffner is not RJ. 

I am a fan of this theory that the RJ age range reveled in Red Barn is right (http://www.whoisredjohn.com/See-a-theory-Red-John/5509) and because of it, Red John can only be Kirkland, Partrigde, Haffner or Bertram. Two of them we are told that are dead, that only leaves Bertram and Haffner. I truly cannot believe that some old guy is Red John because we saw Red John killing and making some apperences already and if in the end they say to us that RJ is someone that I know that cannot possibly be able to do some things we know RJ made, that is just bad writting, what i don't want that.

What i also don't get is why we are told that Lisbon actress was surprised with Red John identity. Because that makes no sense, unless Red John is someone that "died" in previews episodes or someone not on the list. Because if is one of the last 5, then there is no way am going to be surprised with the identity (the story behind it is another thing).

About Haffner, all the last comments made by writers and actors made me think is not him and also these things:
- Was played by Jane and the team at least once;
- Tried to predict Jane future;
- Fear of spiders (funny but was given too much attention on the show to be RJ fear);
- Told Van Pelt and Lisbon to go away from Jane (he does know something that we don't but seems that doesn't know that much);
- Got his career destroyed by Jane and left CBI because of it. Bertram said something like: we will find another thing for you;
- Was an ass to the team in the last episode calling them kids and stuff. 

What makes me think it's him:
- Right age and looks;
- Visualize member;
- Friend with Bret Stiles;
- Computer knowledge and others necessary to the RJ role;
- All the talks with Lisbon;
- Has many friends in the police force;
- The fact that he seems to let more stuff slip about him when he is not near Jane.

About Bertram, he does not have the looks and seems to me that he has a lot to lose if he is RJ because of his position of power in the CBI and politcs. Something is off about him related to the episode Strawberries and Cream. Also he seems to belong to the Tiger Tiger group. He is maybe their leader.

Must certanly i am forgetting stuff related to these suspects. Please share some thoughs about this. It will make my day ;)
