ARGUMENTATION

It's completely alright to believe Brett Partridge isn't Redjohn! But here's why you shouldn't call people who believe Brett Partridge to be Redjohn, "dumb."

Brett Partridge is the only person who fits each and every clue given out through series 1,2,3,4,5 and especially season 6. Most people aren't perceptive enough to follow these clues, as the clues are subtle, and people are too transfixed on following the episode's main storyline.

I would expect these people to easily fall for Bruno's 'Partridge is dead' trick. Its human nature then to defend oneself saying "That's bad writing," or "Bruno wrote a crap story," and completely deflect from the very intricate plot that person failed to see. But the fact remains, Brett Partridge is, and always has been Redjohn.

The identity of Redjohn was solved 6 years ago, by a few during the first episode. This was broadcast to others, and more and more people came to believe Brett Partridge is Redjohn. Since season 3, more subtle clues have been placed but weren't broadcast, as the fish was already in the net.

The problem since season 6 began is a large portion of the suggestive audience have it ingrained in their head that Partridge is not Redjohn because he's dead. Its easy for them to let go, because they only ever knew 5-6 clues to why Partridge is Redjohn. When you know 20-30 clues why Partridge is Redjohn it becomes possible to explain, why and how Partridge needed to fake his death. The more perceptive viewers find it much harder to communicate the subtlety of the clues placed from season 6 onwards. When the fish wriggled out, it's become a lot harder to catch this time!

So when you call a Brett Partridge fan dumb, what you're really saying is:

"I would rather be right about Redjohn, than watch an amazing show."

Let's just end it like this. The fact that Reede Smith is on the list, says Bruno Heller is shooting for a clever plot, rather than a surprising reveal. With Partridge's death fooling so many, he'll now have both.
