Walter Mashburn - Physical description, check.  The word written in the tub Mar - could be the beginning of Mas with the 's' unfinished.  He is rich and powerful and goes for the pain - why kill him when taking his company would be worse?

Has fun with PJ, playfully testing his knowledge - gives him a serious look when PJ suggests the red car because red is his colour.  Charming enough to have women at his feet - don't believe any of the other listed suspects could do that.

Handles a knife very well - see the scene on the terrace with Lisbon and how he continues holding it.

He doesn't have a tattoo - because RJ wouldn't have a tattoo.  Too easy.  There is more check both Mashburn episodes.

The episode when Jane goes to see Mashburn at his hotel and we later find Lisbon in the back room.  There is a subtle dance at the door and Jane goes to move around Mashburn but when Mashburn inches to the side unconsciously blocking the bedroom door PJ taps his nose slightly, indicating PJ knows Lisbon is there. Mashburn drops his jovial mask momentarily to show true anger at PJ's ability to read him so easily.

Then he disappears.  HE even joked with Jane about being a suspect isn't enough for him, next time he might be the killer.


Mashburn has it all - ruthless, charming, rough upbringing could lead him to Visualize etc.
