Who is Red John?

Stop with all the hatred!

Red John enjoys bragging about his crimes and everything, and Patrick knows this, that's why he didn't want to talk a lot, because that would give RJ the confirmation or admiration.

It was long enough and personal enough for me. Sheriff is the perfect RJ. I loved every minute of the hunt!

And we have some closure, finally!

I had a feeling it's McAllister since the list has been given to us, but I couldn't connect him to Visualize. At the end, it didn't matter obviously, because we didn't get an explanation about this.

I really loved this, eight, episode! I can not understand, why are so many people angry and dissapointed. I thought Bruno Heller did a marvelous job hidding the real Red John until the last second. Because honestly, before this episode, there were still a lot of suspects, and it was tough to exlude anyone, even Partridge, Haffner or Stiles, who are suposingly dead, as was Sheriff.

I agree that Sheriff was a minor caracter, but in this season, he has been there, we saw him many times, he even had a episode dedicaded to himself.

I like the choice, really like. And it makes sense, he was there from the beginning, so Heller wasn't making something up during seasons.

I am really interested what's going to happen now, I hope Patrick and Teresa finally come together, because it's obvious they really care for each other.

I was going with Sheriff from the start and I'm going to stick to it.

Out of everybody that presumably died, it's the Sheriff that would make the most sense to come back. Clearly, Smith and Bertram aren't RJ. Patrick wouldn't tell everybody the name, because he wants RJ for himself.

So, it has to be someone who is dead. I'm going to say McAllister actually makes the most sense, not only because he is my choice from the beggining, but there are a lot of other things that have already been explained.

The thing that caught my attention is the calmness when he is sitting. I don't know how to explain why he said that he isn't RJ when Patrick pointed the gun at him in the previous episode. But that was probably just a act, because he knew Patrick didn't expect to see 3 people with the tattoo.

What caught my attention from the start and especially in the Red Wedding episode was his incredibly good sense of smell. We can still remember the Strawberrys and Cream episode, where Timothy Carter, a.k.a. Fake Red John, told Patrick how his wife and daughter smelled before he killed them. Nobody has such a good sense of smell and that that was included wasn't a coincidence.

I still don't know how to connect him to Visualize. And I'm not sure how would he attract women, much younger than him, especially Lorelei, who is a hottie.

Do you guys remember episode 5x22 Red John's Rules?

Patrick went to his home town to solve a murder of his childhood memory that made him smile, Eileen Barlow, who was killed by Red John.

He visited Sean Barlow and had an interesting conversation with him. I found that conversation extremly odd.

If you remember, Barlow said ONLY a Barlow is a real psyhcic and that Jane's father was a fake psyhcic.

Later, when they start talking about Red John, he again points out that Red John has to be a REAL psyhcic. Like he knows who RJ is. Or more importantly, like he knows RJ is someone from the Barlow family.

That was very suspicios and I was always wondering why didn't Patrick try to dig into Sean a little more, to found out if he knows anything about Red John.

If you remember correctly, Sean Barlow is extremly similar to Gale Bertram, similar height, sits with his legs crossed and is bald.

I was thinking, maybe Bertram is a Barlow, who chaned his identity to get himself an important job in the CBI and is the real Red John. I mean, it would explain his connections to Patrick from the carnival years etc.

P.S. Anyone knows if the episode 7 would be available to watch or download Sunday or Monday? Because I've noticed CBS messed up something and is going to air last week's episode this Sunday and this week's next Sunday.

Did you already watch the third episode?

It is very unusual that Sheriff doesn't want to climb the ladder and than walk closer to the edge of the cliff at the beginning. It's like Heller is throwing him at us. But than again, at the end of the episode he saves Patrick from falling from the roof, so his fobia of heights clearly doesn't exist. We can now officialy say Sheriff isn't afraid of heights.

But than just when they walk down from the roof, he gets scared of a few pigeons, yells for a second and than says: "I didn't see that coming, I hate those things!"

That is probably the biggest hint in the episode. Sheriff does not like pigeons! And as we found out, Patrtridge could be taken as a synonim for pigeons, so there could be a possibilty Sheriff had something to do with the death of Brett, or at least Heller wants us to think that way.

I honestly don't know who could be Red John. Heller has that mystery well wrapped somewhere in there, but is constantly throwing us fake hints to throw us off, when we're trying to found out.

Truth is, Mr. Heller is a very fine mentalist and a manipulator himself and he is also one step ahead of us, just like Red John seems to be one step ahead of Patrick.

I think Patrick wants him to feel that way, but he knows clearly more than he is sharing with us or Lisbon.

Next episode with Kirkland is going to be very interesting. If I judge from the promo, Kirkland indeed isn't Red John himself and is just trying to catch him himself or works for him and is paid to scare Patrick.

Oh, and also, I don't think Heller is such an amateur to let us now from the cast appering in the episodes, who Red John is. If Redee Smith is going to be in the episode 8, than that's because Heller wants you to think he is RJ. Just like last week, when he threw Haffner at us and this week Sheriff.

I don't believe Red John is one of the 7 suspects, but every single one of them is connected one way or another with him and has a specific interest connected to him.
