Mentalistic logic: When a hillbilly sheriff can be Red John, why can't a hillbilly pedophile be a cyber-crime genius?

Got a couple questions about Ardiles' manner of death. I noticed that he was stabbed multiple times in the chest. Haven't we seen that before on the show? Wasn't that how someone was killed when the old black saxaphone player was the prime suspect??? Who was it that actually did that killing???

QUESTION:
I always believed that Ardiles was BA.Firstly, he was sneaky in so many different levels, he had done something wrong that he tried to conceal,(remember when Lisbon tried to get help from him and Brenda Shetrick told her to bring up an old case), PJ's exact words when Lisbon said Ardiles to be on Jane's list: "Interesting guess, but no."

So, how comes Ardiles isn't BA?

Maybe Blake Association is a "mask", a tool for the big heads to cover up their crimes.Maybe Blake Association isn't linked to the 3-dot-tattoo.I don't know...

I am not as optimistic as some of you who think Red John is still alive.

But wow when I saw Ardiles dead on the chair, the image of Wainwright dead in the limo flashed into my mind.  Very similar in my opinion.

So oscar ardiles is going to be in Sunday's episode.  If I'm not mistaken, he is the first returning past character since the "New Beginning" started.  Obviously, I'm not including the main cast members, Jane, Lisbon, Cho, Risby, Van Pelt and now Abbot and Fisher and Wiley if you wanna throw him in there.  So it got me thinking, do you think other past characters will return?  If so, which ones?

The Red John episode airs tonight in the UK...boy are they in for a huge disappointment

Season 6 Finale-The Red Goodbye  (Assuming we even get there)

This episode picks up from the previous episode where Lisbon has just announced to Jane that she is moving abroad with her boyfriend, Jane hugs and wishes her well but clearly this does not sit well with him, on their last case together Jane deals with his pain by making jokes and being sarcastic about Lisbon's move, he is in alot of pain cause he now realizes how much he took her for granted. They wrap up the case & the FBI team throw Lisbon a little farewell party. Later that evening Jane heads over to Lisbon's, (I presume to tell her he loves her) as he approached the door, he sees a red smiley face and Teresa's body...

Then CBS announce the show has been cancelled...
