THE THEORIES

We have to be honest :
We were all feeling this disappointment
coming episode by episode since the beginning of season sixth (I mean
after the season premiere).
Specially 2 episode ago, when we knew Bruno heller (or his crappy team) couldn't explain everything in 90 minutes, then 44.
This is so disappointing, so many question unanswered upon all you said we can add.
Susan Darcy mental illness.
Alexa Schultz.

What the fuck seriously, what the fuck.

the only way they can redeem themselves is to show us the real red john in season finale, with real one-on-one 30 minutes long like conversation that all fans deserve and where everything will be unveiled. (with no promos, pictures, articles before the episode of course)

but in the episode before the finale, somewhere at the end of it, here's what must happen: patrick discovers a big shiny red john smiley face up on the wall and a dead body (dead body of a character played by bruno heller himself) and he feels dread and knows, knows that the real red john is still out there.
AND, as a bonus, we get to see a flashback of red john mutilating over and over, and laughing while he does it, bruno heller's character.
that would be a good start i think.

I might as well say Red John is Ray Haffner because I don't want to waste a theory on this amazing website.

What about when they say that RJ has someone on the inside in the FBI? What about if it is a woman rather than a man, just to throw us off, because everyone thinks RJ is a man, maybe that disguises her voice? She also has red hair. Just a thought, not super convinced. I also have another thought. It would be too obvious to have ANY of those 7 suspects that we all were made to be suspicious about on Black winged bird. What if RJ is actually Jane whom is schizophrenic and his "alter ego" is RJ, killed his own wife, and now just to mess with the CBI has them hunting on a wild goose chase, and can keep tabs on the investigation in the mean time. I hope not, I like him so much! To explain this theory, he would have had to go to the physchiatrist's house in disguise as well, to not look like Jane, maybe too far fetched???

I think Susan Darcy is Rj's friend in the FBI because if you watch the suspects video on CBS.com, they show clips of her when they talk about RJ's friend inside the FBI. If you watch the video you will know what I mean.

Also Brenda is somehow involved because if she isn't then the whole scene of showing the audience that she's is one of Volker's accomplices but not having anyone find out would have been pointless. It had to have been to show that she cannot be trusted.

It had to have been to show that she cannot be trusted. Even though she doesn't seem to like helping Volker, the scene still shows that she cannot be trusted.

 First Read his Note:

Quote
"It's about a couple things I found
interesting in 'The Crimson Hat' (season 4 finale).

One word that Red John says when he meets Patrick has always kept me curious.

- Hello, Patrick.
- How you doing?
- Debonair at all costs, huh?
- When did you know?
- Oh, you strung me along for a good long while. Well done.

Debonair – adjective
1. courteous, gracious, and having a sophisticated charm: a debonair gentleman.
2. jaunty; carefree; sprightly.

If
you go back and watch the final scene on YouTube
(http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=pDqVYNtTso4#t=130s -
use that link to go to the exact moment I'm talking about) and you'll
see the street where the limo is being chased is called Rainer Av, which
is intersected by Debonair Way. Coincidence? Heller told us to watch every scene of The Crimson Hat carefully."

End of Quote

NOW My logical explanation is that when Red John said the word Debonair its because he was looking at the street sign while on the phone with Patrick ,
if you look at the chase scene at 2:10
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=pDqVYNtTso4#t=130

when Agent Susan Darcy intercepted the Limo she was in a place where she could see the Debonair sign in front of her , so my guess she could be Red John or may be RJ is the FBI Agent who was with her in the Car.
