THE THEORIES

Great series, but the last seasons were awful. FBI? Can't suspend disbelief on that.
If I were to pick a number one Red John candidate, then it would have to be Rigsby. His father was a biker dirt bag, he fell in love with the redhead, he says things that are out of character, and he is, like someone else said, a classically trained actor. There could be no better choice!
If one were to watch the episode where he is on an island with the cbi team solving a murder, then one could see how Rigsby could be a great Red John.

I keep thinking that by some sympathetic magic RJ will be revealed as Rigsby so I keep posting here saying that he is RJ... Yea, well, anyways...
What is this talk about an eighth season? Are we not already tortured enough, or do the Hollywood idiots really think this jisbon shit is really interesting?

Little Yellow Houses... WTF is that? How is it possible to reconcile the Oklahoma connection to Lisbon's job as a cop in San Fransicko? Ya know, I actually have a theory on this:
It is well know to people (native born Californians) that all the women in San Fransicko are 7 out of 10s... at best, yet believe themselves to be 10s. Also, these same SF 7s are always women that are from other states that moved here (SF) from the mid-west, or some other fly-over state because their moral compass is dubious and could not handle the American culture out there. I strongly believe that the most realistic part of this show, so far, is Lisbon, a clear SF 7, being from Oklahoma... despite her New York accent.
Question: Does anyone else think Lisbon straps it on for Jane? Better yet, Does Wiley strap it on for Heller? Will Vega be cast into a transsexual role in Gotham?
I may actually start reading again.

I have been reading that there will be this new serial killer the finale will focus on, named Lazarus, right?
In this case, the writers are doing a good job keeping my hopes up, as St. Lazarus was the subject of a miracle of Jesus who restored him to life. The Lazarus Syndrome was even mentioned once in the Mentalist (season 2 episode 17) by...Rigsby.

My obsessed brain wants to see in Lazarus nothing more than a Red John restored to life for our greatest pleasure.

These FBI advertisements, also known as The Mentalist, are slowly melting my brain. The levels of propaganda on television are staggeringly obvious these days, and I remain troubled by this fact only because I know the stupid mob takes this shit serious, or at least lets the idiot box form opinions about big government being "necessary".
Why do we have to endure the FBI when CBI, a fictional agency of legal plunder, worked just fine? I mean, why does Cho and the other morons act so serious all the time? And, are we really supposed to find the stench of affirmative action interesting because it is carried on the shoulders of a once great, but entirely dead, series? Finally, does anyone really buy into the jisbon love affair as a possible hook to save this pathetic show/advertisement?
I think, and I am being serious, that I might enjoy this show more now if I were a jingoistic mental defective.

Rigsby is RJ

Piece by piece the past is back... The cup of tea is back, the happiness is back, I bet that it is not the end...

my theory: He is alive. Red John will be back by killing Lisbon, Jane's new love. All those sweet episodes are important to explain the true evil of RJ, he is waiting until PJ is confident, is happy again, to restart the war by giving to PJ a new reason to fight against him...

One thing we often forget it WHY Red john was called Red John?
Because he or she only killed Red Haired women early on in his serial killer career.
So i wish the show would explain why a serial killer broke his pattern?
Seemed like when Rigsby met Grace the red haired killings stopped.
But seriously tho, Rj went from a strict by the rules serial killer using black tape n all to just killing anyone any which way.
Like there was more than 1 red john!
And why all the sudden at the end Red John forgot how to slit necks?
Brett Partridge and Kira Tinsley? If Rj killed them right then Jane would of never found Macalister.
It takes a second to slit a neck too so no excuses!

The show needs to let us know if Red John was really a serial killer or just the Ba leader trying to cover up things.
Bc near the end Rj was not a serial killer at all, no smileys no black tape or specific victims, just random killings of people in his way.
