red john is NOT Walter Mashburn

come on guys, lets really think about it. he is just another cover but he doesnt have any characteristics. People say that he is millionaire and has connections but that doesnt mean he is macabre, like Brett Partridge, or Ellis Mars, or Max winter, He just doesnt have that air of sociopath like Red John would be. i dont even think he is of any importance for the show, because if Bret Partridge is not Red John, at least i have the certainty that he is somehow connected to him, but Mashburn, probably doesnt even know RJ in person

OK on last episode of season 3 many things revealed for me ?!!!
First how Timothy Carter knows things only red john knows and he is not RJ ?? so my guess is Timothy Carter know red john or his relatives
Jane took Gale Bertram to  ((( Pinewood shopping mall >> place where timothy were killed by jane ))) and there was cho and rigsby also ,,, SO NOW
How timothy carter know that place ??? is this a coincidence for him to be there >> NO ,,,, a place who (jane - bertram - cho - rigsby ) only know it ,, Lisbon may know but i am not sure about that!
so my guess is that some one of the 4 people tell timothy to go there and act as to be a red john to play with jane
** bertam could be highly suspect and then cho may be ??????

I cannot believe that none of you have realized who Red John is!!! I always knew it would be someone we least suspected and NOW all the pieces have come together. RJ must have money, RJ must have influence, RJ must have a creepy hideout, RJ must be heartless, and RJ must have a boat. Haven't you guys noticed that Elise Vogelson has all of these qualities??? She is cunning and a cold hearted person. Yeah, yeah, I know there is someone out there right now who thinks I am crazy - but just wait and see - you haven't seen the last of "the songbird"!!!!

Okay. I think it is Kimball Cho for various reasons. But first. The easiest way to verify if your theory is right or not is if you can disprove it. For example. My brother thinks that Red John is Patrick Jane. But it is quite easy to disprove that red John is Patrick Jane because there are so many instances to where it is almost impossible for Patrick Jane to be Red John. For example, when Patrick Jane is held captive and almost murdered by the two teenagers making a movie, Red John comes to save Patrick Jane and while doing so he shoots and cuts open the two teenagers for mocking his work. But to completely disprove that Red John is Patrick Jane, you have to look at the obvious. First being that why would Patrick Jane murder his own family? Second and most obvious reason; why would Patrick Jane spend all of this time obsessing over and searching for Red John if he were Red John himself? It's common logic. Okay, moving on. I think Red John is Kimball Cho because I haven't yet found a way to disprove my theory. For one, Kimball Cho rarely shows during the Res John episodes; he's almost in the shadows. Second, Kimball Cho seems to be the only on the team without major trauma in his or her past. Patrick Jane's family was murdered. Theresa Lisbon's mother died in a car crash and her father killed himself. Rigsby's father is a drug dealer, drinker and ex convinct. Grave Van Pelt shot her own fiancé and she also mentions something in one of the first episodes about a troubled past but she won't elaborate on it. While Kimball Cho has no trauma that we know of. Not only that, but Kimball Cho also seems to be drawn to trouble. Kimball Cho has had sexual intercourse with a prostitute, he has taken too many pills and he was a former gang member. Kimball Cho is also never happy, he rarely smiles and has a cold vibe about him. Kimball Cho never opens up about his personally life and whenever anything involving his life outside of work gets brought up he quickly becomes immensely defensive. Kimball Cho keeps to himself most, if not all of the time and I believe he keeps his silence because he is hiding a dark secret. I believe that secret is that Kimball Cho is Red John. I have yet to find any piece of information or evidence that disproves my theory. Therefore, I'm standing beside it until other sources say otherwise. Now I'm only twelve, so I don't know too much about crime and detective work; but I believe my theory holds strong evidence that will be difficult to disprove. Let me know what you think regarding my theory! Thank you.

Who is Red John?
"He is a Man" - yes, he is a male.
"I only wonder why the two of you didn't become life-long friends the moment you shook hands."
- Red John isn't Jane's friend, basically every male in the show is a suspect
Red John kills the most in Sacramento so he is a male living in Sacramento.
He is good with computers.
His methods of using people are similar to Brett Stiles.
He has connections in CBI, FBI so his job most likely is related to  Law enforcement institutions ( he can give you a new identity).
He must be very unnoticeable guy since no one can't notice him.
He likes Bach, literature, limousines (CBI and FBI like limousines a lot too).

It all makes total sense!  He is just like Jane.  He is charming, manipulative, and arrogant.  Mashburn loved being a murder suspect in that past episode.  He insinuated himself into that investigation and played with Jane like a cat plays with a mouse.  He is intelligent.  He is abhorrently wealthy which gives him unbelievable power and resources.  His past romantic relationships were superficial and typical of men with narcissistic personality disorder.  He no-doubt considers his conquer of Theresa Lisbon to be another victory in his pocket.

I know that the episodes with Mashburn were played very light hearted and comically but I also think that his character could very easily turn evil.  I just haven't been able to think of a reason WHY Mashburn would be Red John.  Not enough history, I guess.

This also gives CBS a GREAT way to amp up the romantic angst for all the Jane/Lisbon shippers out there.  If Walter returns he will obviously try to seduce Lisbon and his vendetta for Jane will escalate to a murdering point.  Enter "Lisbon-In-Peril" scenario and Jane will have to outsmart a man who is literally as smart as he is.

I just woke up from a dream and in the dream red John turned out to be a man dressed and disguised as a woman to throw people off at times but still killed and talked to menions privately as a man without the disguise or vise versa. I just thought this to be an interesting dream because red john would be able to keep his identity secret all while throwing everybody off but doesn't wear the disguise when alone or worried about being seen which explains why we see a masculine figure when he's alone or with the blind lady but probably never see the real red John or so we know when there's other people around. Maybe its my morning groggyness but it would certainly be interesting to see and would make red John more unique in my opinion.
