ARGUMENTATION

Let me put some thoughts on how the show goes and how people react and what's happening why...

First of all, for the ones who ask questions like "there must be a reason why the writers place single-shot characters like Mc Allister again in 6th season...". Yes, they must be doing this because as we are given the list of 7 and those characters take place in it, it's pretty natural to keep those guys in the picture. How else would Bruno keep you thinking of shallow theories (Distraction)?

Second, there are the ones asking " Why didn't they show BP's body on 6x02? They just showed the body bag and skipped it quickly..." Yes, because otherwise, the ones who die for BP to be RJ wouldn't be producing any further theories (distraction) no more.

"Why do I feel like it's Jane himself? Well... it seems kinda impossible but still I have the hunch..." Yes, you will have that hunch until the end, even after that. Because you ignore the storyline and very few clues but instead, focus on an idea which has been processed in some other productions whether on TV or cinema.

" First I thought it was Partridge but since he's dead, now I'm 100% sure it's Haffner..." Don't worry, because you were actually 100% sure it was Partridge before.

" Red John is not a person, it's an organization full of people and when they combine together, they form up RJ". That reminds me of Voltron. Except, in Voltron there were lions instead of Tigers :)

Sorry if I seem too arrogant in choosing the way I put down the above examples however, we need to ask ourselves a few questions if we're trying to generate theories about the big mystery in this show which is Red John's identity and why he's doing what he's doing. Before going into that part, I'd like to say that I don't believe Heller in his all statements but I do believe something. RJ was designed from the beginning. I don't believe there were twists about his identity along the storyline.

1- Today's producers and/or writers aim to be unique with their products. I mean in the past, what mattered was how you told the story (that was how writers/directors/producers are differentiated and credited accordingly) but now it's more like "let me do the undone" kind of approach. Look at the shows in recent years (exclude the ones with cliche plots like mafia things, history things, etc. because you can't play much with those) such as Revolution, Lost, Prison Break, Breaking Bad, etc. All these shows add up something unique to their storyline. Lost was unique itself (it just ended bad), Breaking Bad was nothing new (in terms of drug trade and related issues) but added up a genius chemistry teacher to go out of line as irreversible (has it been done before? No). Prison Break centered on a break out (that part was done before many times) but the fiction behind the trap was unique. Revolution is again unique by its plot. So, this means that in today's show world you have to do something new (and do it good) in order to take your place among the unforgettable (after making money of course). Because the competition (as it is everywhere in each sector) gets tighter and tighter every year and these people must make a difference in order to spark. So, the question is; do you really think that Heller will give us the pleasure of actually guessing the real thing until he reveals it? Allow me to retort: NO WAY!

2- We tend to think of the concept "CLUES" all the time. And this is why we're mixing up the real clues with the false ones and things get quite messed up in our minds and finally we come up with stupid theories most of the time. I have seen many of the theories on this site as well as on others and I can frankly say that there are many people here even more successful than many of the professionals in criminal field. But, this you can only do by bringing clues together and generate thoughts because this is how it's made. If the false clues (red herrings) and real clues get mixed together, your judgement is born dead. If there is a cat and mouse play is going on, this is happening between us and show's producers / writers.

So, if I am right; I mean the show's creators mean to be unique with their product, then it's a really tough job to actually know what will happen and who RJ will be. Because people's minds always tend to flow in a direction where similar stories had taken place and look for similarities in order to guess things right. After all, all of us posting theories here are doing this for what? CREDIT. To be praised by others. When the show reveals its secret, to be able to say "I was the one who thought it correctly. See how clever I am?". While we do have this urge to outsmart each other here in this platform, just think about Heller's position having all the strings in hand. There are some people (the ones I laugh at most) saying: It's Haffner, I know! Why? Because I have a hunch... Good for you to have such a talent bro, why don't you use it to tell me where my lost socks are?

Of course, we will post our theories but repetitions of many other theories with very similar reasonings are kinda boring. Don't get me wrong, everyone has the right to write whatever he/she chooses to. But it just doesn't contribute to anything when we keep posting the same things with same deductions. You may curse at me, criticize me, dislike me, I respect that. But one thing you must admit; what I'm saying is true...
